Different chapters in life present different opportunities to assess risk:
Bringing new life into the world is a magical thing, but that doesn’t mean it’s always easy. As humans we are not perfect and this includes how genes separate and come together. We offer a wide array of genetic and carrier testing for pregnancy.
At other times in our lives we recognize that some significant potential lies in family history. Recognize the potential for early detection of genetic risk for cancers such as breast, ovarian and colon, among others. Your provider can help you decide if testing is right for you to help mitigate your future risk.

When you should test
You can begin genetic testing even before you become pregnant. Visit our office for a preconception consultation to get started.
Hereditary cancer risk may also be done at any time. However, we recommend that this be done once the patient is old enough and ready to make decisions about the information for which you will test.
Genetic testing includes:
Fetal ultrasound
Blood testing
